Lensfield Medical Practice Patient Reference Group
You are invited to join a new reference group of our patients.
The aim is to periodically ask for ideas, suggestions and feedback. We will share with you results from surveys and if we plan any significant changes to our services we will ask the group for their opinion.
Who can join?
Anyone can join. The only rule is that you must be registered as a patient with our practice. Ideally we would like the group to represent our practice list: so young people as well as our more mature patients, Mums and Dads, academics and non-academics and ethnic groups. Everyone has a view and is welcome.
What will I have to do?
Once the list is created we will email (or if you do not have access to a computer, we will write to you) to ask you for some initial ideas on what you see as the priorities and how we can develop the practice. From this information we will create and carry out a survey. Once completed, we will share the results of that survey with you and ask for suggestions on how we might proceed. We will not ask you to attend meetings.
Is the sky the limit?
Obviously there are serious financial constraints within the NHS at the moment, so we cannot promise to make expensive changes. However, improvements in services do not have to be expensive just organised differently, this is why we want your help. Given our limited resources, we think we are already fairly efficient, but you will know if that is the case.
How do I join?
Simply complete the attached form and hand it to a member of the team. You can also send the details by email to admin@lensfieldpractice.org or send an online enquiry.
When you send an email, please add 'PRG' to the subject heading
